Abstract
These procedures, initially reserved for patients who, for reasons of respiratory function, could not undergo pneumonectomy, are performed today every time they are technically feasible because morbidity and mortality of these resections are lower than for pneumonectomy for an undoubtedly identical oncologic result and better quality of life.
