Abstract
During the European Respiratory Congress, the results of two innovating techniques were particularly underlined. Firstly, interest of thermoplasty, in the management of asthma, moderate to severe; secondly, last evolutions in the tracheal replacement. Indeed, the tracheal replacement using aortic allografts is a new technique which may offer new perspectives in human tracheal replacement, when tracheal resections are greater than 5 to 6 cm.
