Abstract
BackgroundTo compare the diagnostic performance of the oblique sagittal and oblique coronal views of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on three-dimensional (3D) volume isotropic turbo spin-echo acquisition (VISTA) images with two-dimensional (2D) fast spin-echo (FSE) T2-weighted images in the diagnosis of complications in ACL reconstruction.Materials and methodsThis retrospective study included 74 patients. Both sequences were independently interpreted by two radiologists.ResultThere were no statistically significant differences in the sensitivity, specificity, or accuracy between the two images.ConclusionThe diagnostic performance of the two oblique views on 3D VISTA imaging was comparable to that of 2D FSE.
