Abstract

ObjectiveTo assess the accuracy of 64-row computed tomography (CT) in the differential diagnosis of acute abdomen in the emergency department.Materials and MethodsProspective analysis of 181 patients with surgically treated acute abdomen.ResultsIn 158/181 cases, CT was totally concordant with surgical repertoire. Partial concordance was found in 15 cases.
