Abstract
We present a rare case of intradural-extramedullary tuberculoma in a HIV negative patient who was under antituberculous treatment for a confirmed prior diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis, intracerebral tuberculomas and gonadal tuberculosis. He presented at the emergency room with cord compression symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) study demonstrated an intradural-extramedullary mass compressing the spinal cord. Brain imaging revealed resolution of the intracerebral tuberculomas.Surgical removal and histologic analysis confirmed the diagnosis.
