Abstract
Anterior interosseous nerve (AIN) syndrome, sometimes referred to as the Kiloh–Nevin syndrome, is a rare compression neuropathy that results from post-traumatic or iatrogenic injury causing compression of the anterior interosseous nerve. This report details the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of a case of anterior interosseous nerve syndrome of apparently idiopathic origin that was surgically decompressed with complete recovery of function. To our knowledge this is the first reported case to be accurately diagnosed pre-operatively with the use of MRI and treated appropriately by decompression with complete recovery of function.
