Abstract
We report a case with renal angiomyolipoma extending into the renal vein. Axial computed tomographic images showed that fat density renal vein thrombosis which was connected with a 7 cm-sized angiomyolipoma in the left kidney. The thrombus extended without expansile extension. Virtual computed tomographic intravascular endoscopic images showed a cone-shaped thrombus with smooth surface. Following a left radical nephrectomy, angiomyolipoma without malignant features was confirmed by pathological examinations of both the renal tumor and the thrombus.
