Abstract
Atrial myxomas are rare in the paediatric age group, and although emboli are the second most common presentation, these are usually to the cerebrovascular circulation. We report the imaging and histological findings from a case of a previously healthy 10-year-old footballer who presented with sudden onset of bilateral lower limb ischaemia, and was found to have a left atrial myxoma that had embolised to the aortic bifurcation. This case represents an unusual presentation of a rare paediatric tumour.
