Abstract
Calcific myonecrosis is a rare condition typically occurring in the lower limb following trauma. We report the clinical presentation and imaging findings in a patient with bilateral calcific myonecrosis of the calves. We are not aware of previous reports of this condition occurring bilaterally. Furthermore, we also report a chronic discharging sinus in the absence of biopsy or infection as a previously unrecognised manifestation of this disease.
