Abstract

Apocrine carcinoma is a rare malign tumour of the breast. The clinical findings and prognosis are similar of those of the other types of breast cancer. It is more often multicentric than the other carcinomas. Mammography and ultrasonography findings of apocrine carcinoma mimic the characteristics of invasive ductal carcinoma. Few reports mentioning US findings are present in the literature. In this paper, we report mammographic and ultrasonographic findings of a case of multicentric apocrine carcinoma presenting as both solid and complex cystic lesions.
