Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a very rare neoplasm. Many aspects of this tumor have not been fully elucidated including their imaging characteristics. To the best of our knowledge, less than 10 cases of IMT of the maxillary sinus have been reported mainly concerning the CT features. Herein we present three cases of pathologically proved IMT originated in the maxillary sinus, retrospectively analyze their CT findings, and review the literature.
