Abstract
Incidence of primary pancreatic lymphoma (PPL) among all pancreatic masses is about 0.5%. Necrosis and calcification are not known to occur in PPL though it may appear after the treatment with chemotherapy. Here we present a case of primary pancreatic diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) that showed evidence of necrosis and air on CT scan at the time of diagnosis mimicking pancreatic abscess. Available literature on PPL is also reviewed.
