Abstract
For patients with medically refractive heart failure and wide QRS interval, cardiac resynchronization therapy has been established as an adjunctive therapy. Echocardiography is a useful method to identify and assess patients who are considered for cardiac resynchronization therapy and to determine the result after device implantation. This review article discusses the applications of echocardiography in patients receiving cardiac resynchronization therapy.
