Abstract
Metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) catalyzed aerobic regenerations of aldehydes and ketones from aldoximes and ketoximes in various ionic liquids under neutral conditions have been studied. Among the various metallophthalocyanines (MPcs) and ionic liquids (ILs) examined, cobalt(II) phthalocyanine (Co-Pc) exhibited the best performances when used in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([bmim]Br). Cobalt(II) phthalocyanine and [bmim]Br can be recycled and reused for several runs without any significant loss of catalytic activity.
