We report the case of a 37-year-old man with a classic form of Steinert disease with right ventricular abnormalities diagnosed by equilibrium radionuclide-gated blood pool angiography (ERNA). Radionuclide angiography has played a key role in the indication of automatic implantable caridoverter defibrillator, even without documented ventricular arrhythmias.
