Histerosalpingografía: ¿cómo, cuándo, para qué?

Histerosalpingography is the most commonly used technique in the evaluation of infertility. It has tradicionally been considered the gold standard for assessment of Fallopian tubes giving information about their patency and morphology. It is also recommended for the study of the uterine cavity. With a good knowledge about the anatomy and the variants of the normality, and a good technique, we can do a good dif-ferential diagnosis between normality and pathology, which probably it will need more tests.
