Abstract
Cardiac involvement can cause sudden death. The diagnosis of cardiac involvement is difficult; it is based on various imaging tests, like magnetic resonance imaging, which is more specific, and positron emission tomography. Diagnostic confirmation by endomyocardial biopsy is obtained in few patients.
