Abstract
The majority of patients underestimated urological symptoms. Less than 25% and 50% of patients had a physical examination and first-level investigations performed before urological counseling, respectively. Our survey reveals an important lack of awareness of genitourinary symptoms that could be responsible for delayed diagnosis and inappropriate treatment.
