Abstract
According to the authors, satisfactory glabella deanimation can only be achieved by nearly complete corrugator excision, from the supraorbital neurovascular bundle on one side to the other. This amount of muscle excision leaves minimal residual muscle activity but also creates a concave defect, which the authors recommend filling with autologous tissue.
