Abstract
HypothesisImpaired wound healing in diabetics is due to pathologic angiogenesis, which is a result of aberrant sphingosine-1-phosphate signaling. Pharmacologic modulation of sphingosine-1-phosphate-dependent signaling normalizes healing in diabetic wounds.
