Abstract
► Electrical stimulation of LPBe induces preferences or aversions in concurrent stimulation-induced place preference tasks (cCPP). ► Similarly self-stimulated LH-animals show clear behavioral preferences in cCPP. ► Naloxone (4 mg/kg) blocks cCPP in LPBe animals. ► Naloxone (4 or 10 mg/kg) does not interrupt cCPP in LH animals. ► Opioid system may be differentially involved in cCPP induced by LPBe & LH stimulation.
