Abstract
⺠Electrical stimulation of LPBe induces preferences or aversions in concurrent stimulation-induced place preference tasks (cCPP). ⺠Similarly self-stimulated LH-animals show clear behavioral preferences in cCPP. ⺠Naloxone (4 mg/kg) blocks cCPP in LPBe animals. ⺠Naloxone (4 or 10 mg/kg) does not interrupt cCPP in LH animals. ⺠Opioid system may be differentially involved in cCPP induced by LPBe & LH stimulation.
