Abstract
⺠Fibronectin is significantly increased in the brain after cryoinjury in rats. ⺠Increased fibronectin is associated with glial activation in the lesion core and periphery. ⺠Fibronectin expression is colocalized with the expression of arginase-1 in activated microglia/macrophages. ⺠Fibronectin may act via arginase-1 in microglia/macrophage activation to modulate CNS inflammation.
