Abstract
⺠We generated transgenic rats expressing the c-fos and mRFP1 fusion gene. ⺠We investigated the expression of c-fos-mRFP1 after nociceptive stimulation. ⺠The expression of c-fos-mRFP1 fusion gene and Fos-LI were almost similar. ⺠The c-fos-mRFP1 transgenic rat is useful to study the central nervous response.
