Abstract
► Resveratrol consumption protects ovariectomized rats chronically treated with D-galactose from developing memory decline. ► Regulation of the redox status in serum and in hippocampus is one of the mechanisms. ► Long-term resveratrol consumption does not induce the effect on uterus compared with estrogen therapy. ► This study can provide evidence for the prevention by resveratrol from developing memory loss.
