Abstract
⺠Monkeys performed a pair-association task with color and shape stimulus sets. ⺠Most responsive neurons were selective for only one of the two stimulus sets. ⺠Only neurons selective for a single stimulus set encoded learned pair-associations. ⺠Neurons coding for individual stimulus attributes were localized in distinct clusters.
