Abstract
⺠We analyzed the time course of the 3-NP induced inner ear energy failure rat model. ⺠After 2 months, ABR showed significant recovery at low frequency. ⺠Histology revealed recovery of the lateral wall and the regenerated fibrocytes. ⺠The cochlear lateral wall has capacity to recover after severe damage.
