Abstract
► Both prosodic prominence and prosodic boundary can immediately affect spoken language comprehension. ► There is an immediate interaction between the effect of prosodic prominence and the effect of prosodic boundary during speech processing. ► The effects of the two types of prosodic information are asymmetrical.
