Abstract
⺠SP600125 has a protective effect on hippocampal neurons in amygdala kindled rats by inhibiting JNK activation. ⺠JNK phosphorylation is involved in the process of hippocampal sclerosis in amygdala kindled rats. ⺠The amygdala kindling epilepsy model resembles the human temporal lobe epilepsy. ⺠JNK pathway may be a new target to interfere with the development of hippocampal sclerosis in the temporal lobe epilepsy.
