Abstract
This article has been retracted at the request of the editor as it substantially duplicates a review paper by the same author entitled 'Gene Response Elements, Genetic Polymorphisms and Epigenetics Influence the Human Dietary Requirement for Choline' that has already been published in IUBMB Life, 59 (2007) 380-387. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that the paper has not been published or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The author regrets that he did not do more to reword these two reviews of symposium talks so that they were sufficiently differentiated..
