Abstract
⺠Some circuits in the brain drive the timing and ordering of behavior, others follow. ⺠Existing techniques are not suited to localizing and characterizing circuit dynamics. ⺠Localized mild cooling of brain areas can be used to detect dynamics. ⺠Models of circuit dynamics can also be tested with intracellular recording and current injection.
