Abstract
Melatonin treatment considerably contributes to the recovery of peripheral nerve crush injury. â¶ Melatonin treatment increases the conduction velocities and decreases the latency values in the injured sciatic nerves. â¶ Melatonin treatments increased the sciatic functional index values in the injured sciatic nerves compared to normal sciatic nerves. â¶ High frequency components of compound muscle action potential decreased after melatonin treatment.
