Abstract
Melatonin treatment considerably contributes to the recovery of peripheral nerve crush injury. ▶ Melatonin treatment increases the conduction velocities and decreases the latency values in the injured sciatic nerves. ▶ Melatonin treatments increased the sciatic functional index values in the injured sciatic nerves compared to normal sciatic nerves. ▶ High frequency components of compound muscle action potential decreased after melatonin treatment.
