Abstract
⺠Stress during adolescence causes a sustained decrease in CB1 receptors in the PFC of adults. ⺠Following recovery from stress there is an increase in CB1 receptors in the hippocampus. ⺠CB1 receptor levels in the amygdala increase with advancing age. ⺠Adolescent rats do not exhibit habituation to stress-induced corticosterone secretion.
