Abstract

âº Locally synthesized proteins have diverse functions at the synapse. âº RNA binding proteins cooperatively regulate dendritic protein synthesis. âº Local protein synthesis regulates neuronal function outside the hippocampus. âº Varied neurological disorders may involve dysregulated local protein synthesis.
