Abstract
⺠Spinocerebellar tract neurons are inhibited by various sources of input. ⺠Morphological substrates of inhibition were investigated. ⺠Quantitative analysis revealed differences in inhibitory input to neuronal subtypes. ⺠This is likely to reflect differences in inhibitory information conveyed to the cerebellum. ⺠The cerebellum is thus able to gauge the level of inhibition of motor networks.
