Abstract
⺠Major changes in presynaptic GABAB receptors occur during vestibular compensation. ⺠GABAB decreases GABA release in vestibular nuclei neurons after lesions. ⺠GABAB decreases GABA activity on the intact side of compensating chickens. ⺠Postsynaptic GABAB receptors are not involved in vestibular compensation.
