Abstract
⺠Formalin increased the 5-HT in the ipsilateral dorsal part of the spinal cord. ⺠I.t. 5,7-DHT reduced spinal 5-HT and prevented secondary allodynia/ hyperalgesia. ⺠I.t. 5-HT4/6/7 agonists increased secondary mechanical allodynia/hyperalgesia. ⺠I.t. 5-HT4/6/7 antagonists prevented secondary mechanical allodynia/hyperalgesia. ⺠I.t. 5-HT4/6/7 antagonists reversed secondary mechanical allodynia/hyperalgesia.
