Abstract
â¶Unilateral tinnitus is generated in the left auditory cortex, irrespective of the tinnitus side. â¶Unilateral tinnitus is always generated in the contralateral auditory cortex. â¶Tinnitus lateralization depended on the contralateral parahippocampal area. â¶In auditory cortex no differences were found between left- and right-sided tinnitus patients.
