Abstract
▶To investigate seven NF-κB phosphorylations in neurons following status epilepticus (SE). ▶p65-Ser536 NF-κB phosphorylation was enhanced in neurons vulnerable to SE. ▶These neurons were TUNEL-positive and FJB-stained degenerative neurons. ▶Other NF-κB phosphorylation disappeared in neurons vulnerable to SE. ▶p65-Ser536 NF-κB phosphorylation may be relevant to neuronal vulnerability to SE.
