Abstract
â¶AMPA and NMDA receptors mediate synaptic transmission in the trigeminal brainstem. â¶The ratio of AMPA/NMDA receptor-mediated EPSCs linearly increases postnatally. â¶NMDA receptor subunit composition remains constant during postnatal development. â¶Neonatal denervation does not change these processes.
