Abstract
These experiments demonstrate that the rate and pattern of postnatal granule cell genesis in the rat hippocampus are altered by neonatal glucocorticoid treatment. Specific effects are compared to those previously reported for cerebellar neurogenesis in the glucocorticoid-treated rat.
