Abstract
► Antisaccades have been shown to alter the activity of oculomotor networks. ► We had participants alternate between pro- and antisaccades. ► We demonstrate a reaction time switch-cost for prosaccades but not antisaccades. ► We propose that antisaccades produce residual inhibition in prosaccade networks.
