Abstract
⺠Acute inflammation of the temporomandibular joint was induced by injection of 10% formalin. ⺠Neural activity increase was assessed using c-Fos protein at the vestibular nucleus after 24 hours. ⺠Inflammation of TMJ increased ipsilateral vestibular nucleus activity. ⺠This result shows possible roles of TMJ inflammation in dizziness.
