Abstract
⺠Intranuclear inclusions (INIs) are recognized as a hallmark of certain neurodegenerative diseases. ⺠We determined whether autophagy-specific proteins (NBR1 and LC3) are involved in INI formation. ⺠A significant proportion of INIs were positive for NBR1 and negative for LC3. ⺠NBR1 may have other functions than autophagy.
