Abstract
⺠To our knowledge, we first report the association of rs2455391 in DAT1 intron 1 with schizophrenia. ⺠The rs2975223(G)-rs2455391(C) haplotype was associated with increased risk of schizophrenia. ⺠We showed that rs2455391 was also associated with PANSS positive, general and global symptoms.
