Abstract
⺠We tested an almost 400 bp region of pri-miR124 gene in Mongolia AD population. ⺠We found an identified SNP site existed and could change the predicted structure of pri-miR124. ⺠We identified this site was a functional site and could alter the expression of mature miR-124. ⺠Our study cannot illustrate the correlation between this site and high incidence of AD.
