Abstract
⺠We investigate the effect of costunolide dopamine (DA)-induced apoptosis in vitro. ⺠Costunolide regulates DA-metabolism associated ASYN, Nurr1, DAT, and VMAT2 genes. ⺠These four key proteins are involved in Parkinson's disease pathogenesis. ⺠Costunolide is suggested as a therapeutic candidate for Parkinson's disease.
