Abstract
⺠Affects of Aβ amyloid on the formation of α-synuclein aggregation was studied in mice. ⺠Double M83/Tg2576 and triple M83/Tg2576/P246L presenilin-1 mice were generated. ⺠Mice were evaluated for Aβ and α-synuclein pathology. ⺠Hyperphosphorylated α-synuclein dystrophic neurites accumulated within Aβ plaques. ⺠No further α-synuclein pathologies were observed.
