Abstract
⺠Gene expression profiles were compared in RHA-I vs. RLA-I rats (microarray). ⺠14 genes were up-regulated and 24 were down-regulated in RLA-I vs. RHA-I rats. ⺠Based on their brain functions, seven genes were selected for RT-PCR validation. ⺠Differential expression of CAMKK2, CRHBP, EPHX2, HOMER3 and PRL was validated. ⺠These genes are linked to behavioral traits differentially expressed in Roman rats.
