Abstract
► Power grip task allows to originally study the control of finger force sharing. ► We adapted a power grip task by neutralizing the thumb and the secondary moments. ► The finger force sharing changed with the adapted power grip task. ► Adapted power grip task revealed the sharing due to internal characteristics. ► The proposed paradigm can be used for fundamental studies or during rehabilitation.
