Abstract
► We study effects of precision aiming on respiration and postural control. ► Respiratory rate and regularity increase during task performance vs. pre-task. ► More demanding aiming is accompanied by short periods of breath holding. ► Demands of supra-postural tasks affect respiration rate and dynamics. ► Compensation for respiration rate increase may be task dependent.
