Abstract
⺠We study effects of precision aiming on respiration and postural control. ⺠Respiratory rate and regularity increase during task performance vs. pre-task. ⺠More demanding aiming is accompanied by short periods of breath holding. ⺠Demands of supra-postural tasks affect respiration rate and dynamics. ⺠Compensation for respiration rate increase may be task dependent.
